Overview

Unlike the excursion to Saona, on this tour to Catalina Island we focus on snorkelling, as the island has a coral reef full of life surrounding it.

It is the perfect place to enjoy the freshness of the water by snorkelling and taking a dip on the island’s beach. Be impressed by the beauty of the reefs and the colours of the fish. Together with Saona, Catalina Island is one of the two jewels of the Caribbean.

The boat trip from the port of La Romana to Catalina Island usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes. This leaves plenty of time to enjoy snorkelling and swimming at the island’s beach.

Itinerary

6:30 AM - 8:00 AM - Hotel pick up.
9:30 AM - Stop at souvenir shop.
10:30 AM - Arrival at the port of La Romana, where we will sail to Catalina Island.
11:30 AM - Arrival at Catalina Island, snorkeling area.
12:30 AM - Arrival at the private beach on Catalina Island.
1:30 PM - Buffet lunch.
3:30 PM - Return by boat to the port.
4:15 PM - Return by bus to the hotel.
